ICE BLANKETS FOR SHIPPING

Flexible, Wrap-Around Refrigerated Cooling

The EverCold® Ice Blanket wraps around your product, so cold reaches every surface inside the shipper. It ships dry in lightweight rolls, which means you’re not paying freight to move water weight before you ever freeze it.

  • Ships dry, freezes on site: Lightweight rolls cut inbound freight costs compared to pre-made gel packs
  • 2-8°C Performance: Built for refrigerated shipping.
  • Flexible Frozen Format: Wraps around irregular product shapes and fills dead space inside the shipper.
  • Cut-to-Size: Seams between cells let you cut exact packout dimensions with no waste.
  • Non toxic

This product provides superior refrigerated temperature control for shipping perishable products, and it’s especially effective in situations where a single rigid pack simply can’t reach every surface. Because the wrap-around format conforms to irregular shapes, it holds a consistent temperature across the whole product instead of leaving edges exposed the way gel packs alone often can.

To prep it. Cut between the seams to size and soak in freshwater for five minutes. Pat dry and freeze flat overnight. Do not freeze fabric to fabric. The Ice blanket is flexible when frozen to wrap around or cover products in your shipping container, something rigid gel packs can’t do.

  • Freezes at 32°F / 0°C
  • Not intended for frozen or deep-frozen shipments

Frequently Asked Questions

How long do I soak it?

Soak in fresh water for about 5 to 15 minutes. For some applications, a slightly longer soak can increase absorption.

How much finsihed gel ice does one roll make?

One roll yields the equivalent of 850 to 1,785 lbs of finished gel ice packs, depending on cell size.

Is EverCold® Ice Blanket right for frozen shipments?

No. EverCold® Ice Blanket is built for refrigerated shipping. For frozen or deep-frozen shipments, Cold Ice® +10°F or -10°F formulas (respectively) are the better fit.

Can I cut the Ice Blanket to a custom size?

Yes. Cut along the seams between cells to create whatever dimensions your packout needs, with no wasted material.

How does an Ice Blanket compare to dry ice?

Unlike dry ice, the Ice Blanket won't sublimate, doesn't require special handling, and stays effective for standard refrigerated transit without off-gassing concerns.
